Audrey is everything you could want in a hair stylist and makeup artist for your wedding day!

Not only does she have an extensive background in hair and makeup artistry, but she really highlights on what’s important for a beautiful bridal look. Having also worked in the fashion/entertainment industry, I was especially careful when it came to picking a hair and makeup artist for my wedding.
I searched for over a year before I finally found Audrey. Her work captures flowy, ephemeral, and cherubic looks that make a bride look glowing, and flawless! I haven’t seen wedding makeup quite like hers! Audrey somehow is able to create a flawless look that stays completely in place without layering on too much of any product. Best of all, she applies the makeup while checking from every angle to make sure that it is perfect on every side. I found that this was really great for when she did my hair. My head wasn’t completely symmetrical, so she did a 360 look with my hair to make sure that it had the perfect amount of dimension from every side. Wedding makeup is a big investment, and it should be. If a bride does not look her best on her wedding day, then nothing else really matters more than that. Audrey is spectacular, and I wouldn’t have gone with any other makeup artist for the big day. Nobody could even come close to what she can do (and I speak from a long experience of working with makeup artists). She is incredibly professional and organized, so she will take care of every step/setup to the big day.

We chose Audrey after seeing her beautiful bridal work at our friend Amira’s wedding (below!).

She is fabulous at bringing the bride’s vision to life, and in our case, two brides! During our bridal trial we came with photos of our dresses and vague ideas of what we wanted. Audrey was able to translate our incongruous thoughts into perfectly matched looks for each of us. Our bridal party was small, but Audrey worked in tandem with her beauty assistants to handle hair and makeup for two brides, two bridesmaids, as well as one mother, aunt, and grandmother! Each person’s makeup was flawless and appropriate for our late afternoon wedding. We took pictures around DC in the early afternoon, so our hair and makeup was done earlier in the day, but it lasted well into the night and nary a hair fell out of place! Audrey was truly a dream come true.

We are both so lucky to have had the blessing of her to do our make up and hair. Not only is she an amazing artist but she was so kind and made the whole experience easy, relaxing and enjoyable. Audrey is a wonderful hair and makeup artist and such a pleasure to work with! I did many hair and makeup trials with other people and left each trial feeling disappointed. I almost gave up on my search for the right makeup artist and stylist. That was until I had my trial with Audrey. She asked me to bring sample images of my gown and really worked to create the overall ‘vision’ while still incorporating my request for a sophisticated and delicate style. Audrey also made sure to attend to the “little details” that are often overlooked. For example, she continually positioned herself at different angles while doing my eye makeup and when I asked why she did this, she said that she needed to make sure that my makeup looked good from every angle – wow – talk about dedication! I was even more blown away by her artistry on my special day, and I have never received so many compliments before! One of my friends told me later that when she saw me for the first time walking down the aisle, she thought that I looked like I had just stepped out of a bridal magazine!
